Our first site spotlight caught up with John, one of our newest site managers…keep reading to find out what he had to say!
How long have you been with us, and which sites have you worked on?
I have only been with TKL about 8 weeks but I have already worked on several sites. I have been to Basildon, South Elmsall, Worksop, Rastrick, and I am currently in Derby.
What is your favourite part?
I have enjoyed seeing the different types of projects that TKL are involved with, from housing developments to large industrial projects. There is a wide variety and every day is different.
What are you particularly enjoying about the Derby project?
Ground stabilisation is something new to me, so I am looking forward to learning more about the process and machines used.
What are your site goals before Christmas?
We are aiming to prepare the haul roads to enable spoil to be moved using road wagons from one site to the tipping area on the main development.
